Zonta Club of the Grand Rapids Area

has Presented  various Fundraisers,  including Community Book Club  and Charity Texas Hold'em events where 00% of the net Proceeds have gone to different local community organizations over the years.

Community Book Club Fundraisers format included a discussion of a book with  Best selling Authors as our Keynote and Grand Rapid's own Shelley Irwin, WGVU, as Q&A Facilitator.  Each person who attended the events had the opportunity to meet and have the author sign their copy of their book over hors d'oeuvres, desserts and beverages.

The Charity Texas Hold'em format was an informal Tournament style,  three day event that allowed poker players of all skill levels  to have fun while raising money for  a good cause.

      toward the capital campaign for renovating Camp Newaygo's clubhouse                          to aid in the purchase of a new vehicle for transportation of their clients to appointments.
