Club Overview

Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women and girls worldwide through service and advocacy.

Founded in Buffalo, New York in 1919, Zonta International now has more than 1,251 clubs in 69 countries with members totaling over 33,000.  Zonta International is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Zonta Club of the Grand Rapids Area was organized in 1921.  Since that time, the Grand Rapids Club has participated in numerous hands on service and fundraising projects to benefit women and girls in the Grand Rapids community and internationally.
